Following that each and every item that is entrusted to us is carefully measured, examined, tested using the most appropriate and modern tools, documented, and researched by us. Accuracy of weights and measurements are double checked (at least) for accuracy.

About your appraiser -Bill Green
My position, for over 30 yrs, has been President, resident jeweler, restoration expert, and appraiser at Jewelry & Timepiece Mechanix (JMx). I've been in the Jewelry & Watch Trade for more than 40 yrs. It's been my pleasure to have designed and created bespoke jewelry and timepieces for a wide range of clientele of local customers, as well as, famous artists, politicians, lawyers, doctors, actors, musicians, and other notables who were desirous of owning something singular, precious, and totally unique. As a working jeweler I have also prepared expert appraisals for store clientele, lawyers, estates, . As an inventor I currently hold several patents in the watch and jewelry field. At Jewelry & Timepiece Mechanix we purchase precious metal scrap, gemstones, watches, and estates from the public and I have done so since the mid 1970's. In 2018 I, while still operating my own business, became the Director of Repair and Restorations, and appraisals at Ye Olde Timekeepers, Inc. who are a major supplier of Luxury Vintage and Antique Jewelry & Fine Timepieces to major dealers, high end jewelry and watch salons, and auction houses worldwide. It has been my privilege to have apprenticed with many fine jewelers and to have formally trained, studied. I've studied at and graduated from G.I.A. (Gemological Institute of America) and have attended and graduated from the Miami Jewelry Institute. I am a member in good standing of several trade organizations and guilds such as: The American Society of Jewelers and Gemologists, Jewelers of America, Ethical Metalsmiths Guild, et. al.
